After a gnarly week, we headed to Bali.
Year ago, when I told people that I was going to the Peace Corps in Mali, most people asked, “Bali?”. Um no. At least not then. But now, yes! Bali! It sounds luxurious (and it was), but we actually worked about half the time that we were there. (I don’t recommend that plan, BTW).
Still, we had a good time hanging out of the beach, surfing a little, and getting massages. See, you already don’t feel sorry for us, huh?
We also got pedicures. I thought that it would be a nice experience for two people who wear sandals everyday. Um, Forest thought NO. He’s still complaining about it.
Please ask him if he’s wearing nail polish when you see him next.
